German title: Sara und der Drache
Eleven-year-old Sara lost her family in the war. Now she lives in a refugee accommodation in the small town of Borington. When a compatriot of hers is deported, she becomes frightened and runs away. She finds shelter in a house whose residents have gone away during the Christmas holidays. Sara builds a trap and is surprised when she finds an injured dragon baby inside. Luckily, Mortimer’s father is a dragon fan and owns countless books about these creatures. So the children learn that dragons visiting our world can grant wishes. And they do so for those who help them. However, Mortimer’s wish of attracting countless followers with a dragon video puts the defenceless animal in great danger ...
