My Dad is a Sausage

Eleven-year-old Zoë has an amiable but rather odd family. Her mother Veronique travels the world as a sales representative for the chocolate factory run by her grandfather, her father Paul is always tired and works in the dormant capital department of a bank. Her older brother Kas is preparing the cellar for the impending end of the world, and her 15-year-old sister Fien is absolutely ambitious and a bit in love. Zoë herself, however, has felt pretty miserable since the family moved. Her life seems dull and deadly boring. This changes one evening when Paul declares that he has quit his well-paid bank job to become an actor. The family, especially Veronique and Grandfather, are shocked. Only Zoë believes in him and his dream. When she is once again bullied at school, Paul lets his daughter stay at home. From now on, Zoë coaches him to prepare for the audition and accompanies him to his appointments. But Paul is too nervous and receives one rejection after another. Until he finally gets a role: the sausage in a commercial!
